In the legendary home of Qlimax, The Geldredome, Arnhem (NL), Q-dance threw a birthday party we will never forget. We are extremely proud to be part of the team that was responsible for the audio creation of this event. It was a huge operation, but we all managed it and the outcome is something we will remember for a long time. Huge dedication resulted in a beautiful, 11-hour, synergy between the audio and visual effects. Q-dance raised the bar once again and we hope to work with them for another 20 years!

For this year’s edition of Qlimax we collaborated with a big choir. We composed an orchestral rework of the hitsong ‘Take It All’ by Sound Rush. The choir performed live on stage at The Geldredome, Arnhem (NL) and created a real epic moment. Thanks to all the people who were involved in this challenging project! We couldn’t do this without them.

After 15 successful editions of Q-Base, Q-dance gears up for a new chapter in the harder styles’ saga. A monstrous new festival saw the light of day at Airport Weeze. We composed all the audio of the trailers, teasers and radio commercials in the marketing phase ahead of the event. At the event itself we composed the openingshow, fireshow & lasershow at the 3 different areas. We also made the endshow at the mainstage.

3 areas designed as 3 mythical beasts with the names of The Octagon, The Invader & The Colossus. For every creature we created tailor-made sound design and audio production to bring the characters to life. Impaqt is truly a festival of titans and it was great to be involved in this project!

Being the first of its kind when it was established, Mysteryland can call themselves the oldest dance music festival in the Netherlands. With this year’s edition, the organisers showed the world that Mysteryland is on top of their game with 100.000 visitors from all over the world.

This year we had to take care of a lot of shows. We created all the interlude shows and endshows for the Q-dance stage and the mainstage. Here we combine our audio with lights, lasers, visuals and spectacular fireworks. For the Q-Dance stage we conjured up our ‘Bass Face’ and for the mainstage we created beautiful emotional sounds like an orchestral re-work of Robert Miles – Children.

Defqon.1 is the biggest festival of the harder dance styles. Q-dance transformed the festival site into a town where the Hardstyle tribe get loose in a world of madness. Biddinghuizen, The Netherlands is the place to be for 85.000 people for 3 days long. This year we’re responsible for the audio of Power Hour. Together with the incredible dedicated Q-Dance team we managed to do this again.

The challenge of Power Hour is to top last year’s edition as visitors of Defqon.1 describes Power Hour as the most intense 60 minutes of their lives. Months of work and sleepless nights are worth it as the crowd explodes during this hour full of craziness. Thousands of people feel like they are one tribe during one of the biggest mass celebrations of the year.
